+ litt fauna: Jeg kom over greens and spleens i en bok forleden og spurte en
amerikansk venn, som sendte meg følgende:
Spleens and greens are traditional food for poor Blacks in the South.
Spleens would be chicken spleens (milt) and greens would be turnip greens
(i.e the green top of the turnip). Blacks who are no longer poor (or from
the South) also enjoy them; tradition dies hard.
Men, hva denne green top of the turnip kan være på norsk, har jeg foreløpig
ikke svar på.
