Dei fleste stader på nettet er «talking book» tvillaust det same som lydbok. Men i Microsoft-samanheng er det visst noko anna:

At Newman College, Microsoft PowerPoint in Office2000 is used to give students the ability to create quality «talking books» as part of their Year 10 Multimedia class. It is also used inlanguage classes to create personal dossiers as part of the Year 10 LOTE. In this workshop, participants set up a Windows computerfor audio recording and create a simple talking book using PowerPoint. This technique can then be taken to the classroom for studentsto use for a variety of tasks.»
